Day 1 Recap

We just are finishing day1 of our adventure at Taos. After working at the Taos Day School we came back to the lodge for lunch. We then headed out to the Gorge for a hike and a walk across the bridge. We then went to the Earthship which is a community of homes made out of recycled material.

We came back to the lodge and went in the hot tub and swam at the community center.

This evening we went to the Tiwa Kitchen for a pueblo dinner.  We then had our first cultural event. The drum/singing group Hail Creek Singers performed round dances and sung sons and the students did round dances.

They are now playing a game in the lodge.
